Practice
Practice and repetition can cause improvements (or not). Much of what we do has been honed by repetition to the point of nonsense and eventual boredom.
After many years of the same simple tasks I sometimes can't recall whether I've done something or not. Worst of all is waking up without a thought in my wee brain.
Days are so similar (at times) that I recently had no reference point as to what day of the week it was. Obviously it didn't matter too much since my routine is carried out by rote most of the time.
Is rote writ rite?
Nonsense will prevail.
Here.
